1. Payment Methods

Pure Effect Music accepts the following payment methods:

Payment instructions will be provided when your purchase is confirmed. For standard purchases, orders are prepared for dispatch once payment has been received and cleared.

These payment methods also applies to deposits and instalments under our Layaway Program, which is governed by separate Layaway Program Terms & Conditions.

2. Free Worldwide Shipping

We are pleased to offer free worldwide shipping on standard orders.

 

International shipments are arranged using DHL Express or Fedex International, subject to destination, carrier availability and any applicable shipping restrictions.

 

Prior to dispatch, each guitar is carefully checked, photographed and securely packed to help ensure that it arrives in the condition described.

Tracking information will be provided when your order has been dispatched.

​

Our usual dispatch time is one to two business days after payment has cleared, subject to instrument availability, destination requirements and any necessary shipping or export documentation.

Delivery times are estimates. Customs clearance, local conditions and carrier delays may affect the actual delivery date.

​

For custom orders or layaway purchases, dispatch arrangements will be confirmed separately as appropriate.

3. Shipping Insurance & High-Value Instruments

 

We understand the importance of protecting rare, vintage and collectible instruments during international transit.

 

Prior to dispatch, the applicable shipping and insurance arrangements will be confirmed for the destination and value of the instrument. Insurance availability, coverage limits, exclusions and declared shipment values may vary by carrier and destination.

 

Where additional arrangements are required for a high-value instrument, these will be discussed with the buyer prior to dispatch.

 

Please inspect the parcel and instrument promptly upon delivery. If the outer packaging is visibly damaged, photograph the area prior to opening.

 

If an instrument appears to have been damaged during transit, please retain the original packaging and all shipping materials and contact us immediately. We will assist with the appropriate next steps, including any necessary carrier claim.

4. International Orders, Customs & Import Charges

We welcome orders from collectors and musicians around the world.

 

International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance charges or other fees imposed by the destination country. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, these charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping offer and are the buyers responsibility.

 

Such charges are determined by the relevant authorities and may be collected by the carrier prior or upon delivery.

 

Buyers are responsible for checking their country's import requirements prior to placing an order. Certain instruments, woods or other materials may be subject to additional import, export or documentation requirements.

 

Please contact us prior to purchasing if you require assistance confirming the proposed shipping arrangements for your destination.

5. Returns, Damage & Material Misdescription

At Pure Effect Music, we take care to describe and photograph each instrument as accurately as possible. We encourage customers to review the listing carefully and contact us with any questions prior to completing a purchase.

 

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Please ensure you are satisfied with your purchase prior to placing an order.

 

If an instrument arrives damaged or materially differs from its listing description or photographs, please notify Pure Effect Music  within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographs and a clear description of the issue.

 

Please retain the original packaging and all shipping materials, and do not carry out repairs, adjustments or modifications prior to contacting us.

 

We will review the circumstances promptly and work with you to determine an appropriate resolution. Where a return is agreed or required, we will provide instructions regarding return authorisation, shipping arrangements and any applicable refund or other remedy.

 

The 48-hour notification period is intended to help us investigate and resolve issues promptly.

6. Layaway Purchases

Pure Effect Music offers a separate Layaway Program for eligible instruments.

 

Layaway purchases are governed by the Layaway Program Terms & Conditions Page, which set out the applicable deposit, payment schedule, payment period, extension provisions and other relevant terms.

 

Layaway deposits and instalments may be paid via bank transfer or Paypal. No additional payment-processing surcharge is imposed by Pure Effect Music.

 

The instrument will be dispatched  once the full purchase price has been received and cleared, subject to the agreed shipping arrangements and any applicable documentation requirements.
